Tree Hazard Inspection (FREE in November & December)
The purpose of our Tree Hazard Inspection process is to thoroughly inspect your property to find tree issues that may pose a threat or create a hazard to your property, home, cars, pets or worse your family. We send a Certified Arborist to inspect each and every tree on your property and they will note hazards and issues that create liability. A proposed plan to eliminate those risks and hazards will then be submitted to you in the form of an estimate for services. If you know nothing about trees don't worry! Our promise is to never try to sell a service that is not completely necessary. We may recommend services that benefit tree health or visual appeal, but those services will be noted as optional, not priority. TREE HAZARD CHECKLIST
After asking yourself these questions, consider a glance around your house and property.
· Are there large dead branches in the tree?
· Are there detached branches hanging in the tree?
· Does the tree have cavities or rotten wood along the trunk or in major branches?
· Are mushrooms present at the base of the tree?
· Are there cracks or splits in the trunk or where branches are attached?
· Have adjacent trees fallen over of died?
· Has the trunk developed a strong lean?
· Do many of the major branches arise from one point on the trunk?
· Have the roots been broken off, injured, or damaged by lowering the soil level, installing pavement, repairing sidewalks, or digging trenches?
· Has the site recently been changed by construction, raising the soil level, or installing lawns?
· Have the leaves prematurely developed an unusual color or size?
· Have trees in adjacent wooded areas been removed?
· Has the tree been topped or otherwise over pruned?
Trees bring with them an unavoidable measure of risk and danger. Recommendations or services provided by ArborWorks, LLC are intended to reduce these hazards. This danger is typically in the form of breakage, falling debris, and other causes and conditions. ArborWorks, LLC takes every precaution to minimize this danger, however, there can be no guarantee such dangers will not be encountered. Acts of God (i.e. weather) and other conditions concealed or otherwise make it impossible to eliminate these risks.
